• Eligibility

    Preschool: Students must turn 3 years old on or before October 1st for the upcoming school year.

    Kindergarten: Students must turn 5 years old on or before October 1st for the upcoming school year.

    Enrollment/Registration Documents:

    In preparation for the on-line registration process, please prepare the following items:

    • Birth Certificate 
    • Universal Health Record
    • Immunization Record
    • Proof of Residency - 2 forms needed
    • Withdrawal Form/Transfer Form from Previous School - If applicable
    • Current Report Card - If applicable
    • Current IEP/504 - If applicable
    • Court Orders/Custody Documentation - If applicable

    Proof of Residency

    The following forms of documentation may demonstrate a student's eligibility for enrollment in the district:

    • Property tax bills, deeds, contracts of sale, leases, mortgages, signed letters from landlords and other evidence of property ownership.
    • Voter registrations, licenses, permits, financial account information, utility bills, delivery receipts, and other evidence of personal attachment to a particular location
    • Court orders, State agency agreements and other evidence of court or agency placements or directives
    • Utility bills for the stated address in same person’s name

    If the residency you are enrolling with is not in your name, or you are living with someone and have none of the “Proof of Residency” documentation listed above in your name, please have the person with whom you reside provide you with a notarized letter stating that you and your children live with them permanently.  That person will also need to provide proof of residency as outlined above.  

    If you are not permanently residing at the residence, but are in fact in transition, please make sure you complete the Homeless Determination page within the registration. 

    Required Immunizations

    In accordance with the New Jersey Immunizations of Pupils in School regulations(N.J.A.C.8:57)

    Students entering preschool must have the following immunizations: 

    • Flu Vaccine:  Children 6 months-59 months of age attending Preschool should annually receive 1 dose of the Influenza Vaccine between September 1 and December 31 each year.  Students who do not receive the Flu Vaccine will be excluded from school for the duration of the flu season(through March 31) or until they receive 1 dose of the Influenza Vaccine or they turn 60 months of age.
    • DTap: 4 doses
    • Polio: 3 doses
    • Hib: At least 1 dose after first birthday
    • MMR: 1 dose on or after the first birthday
    • Varicella: 1 dose on or after the first birthday
    • Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine:  At least 1 dose on or after the first birthday
